[CO]here Boulder
COhere Boulder is a 10-day festival (October 16–25, 2026) connecting residents with Boulder's social & natural ecosystems, put on by Woven Web. The 10 days feature roughly 30 - 50 public events including hands-on workshops, art exhibitions, climate action days, community gatherings, and more. Woven Web creates the framework, produces the opening and closing ceremonies, and promotes the festival, while empowering community members to host distributed events citywide. See video in Support materials for a fuller sense of the events and festival’s culture.
COhere’s 2026 theme "We are our ecology" centers ecological interconnection through hands-on programming and eco-centric art and speakers. The event will prioritize Indigenous-led offerings that honor the profound cultural frameworks they hold for living in harmony with the natural world, as well as highlight regenerative farmers, permaculturists, scientists, and advocates fostering cultures of ecological connection.
Woven Web is a community research lab weaving education, arts, and technology in service of life. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Woven Web fosters connected cultures by tending the relationships between people, place, and the living systems we share. Through partnerships with institutions like CU Boulder's ATLAS Institute, COOL Boulder, Naropa University, and Regen Hub, Woven Web works at the intersection of art, emerging technology, and ecological awareness— exploring how these forces can resist social disconnection and deepen belonging. Woven Web works to see, tend, and build on the existing connections already established in Boulder’s community.
