Neighborhood Village Project

Neighborhood Village Project is a free, 6-month course that helps people foster a greater sense of community in their neighborhood. Past NVP participants have mitigated wildfires by clearing brush around their homes, started shared childcare networks, garden collectives, emergency resilience plans, mutual aid networks, and more. Our goal is to help people build the social infrastructure needed for real resilience to occur. Participants get to know their neighbors, host neighborhood gatherings, and create cultures of care and support throughout where they live. NVP serves 19 neighborhoods in Boulder County and plans to serve an additional ~15+ neighborhoods starting in June with their next cohort.
