What: Through a combination of aerial netting and soil-level trapping, they gather comprehensive data on insect richness and abundance. These collections take place during optimal morning hours and provide critical insight into ecological balance, habitat quality, and the effects of management practices on biodiversity.

This work is a cornerstone of DAR’s commitment to tracking ecosystem health through multiple indicators.
