Waterwise and Ignition Resistant Gardening

  • Boulder Public Library (Canyon Theater) (map)

What: Learn about creative water-conscious and ignition resistant landscape gardening from the Master Gardeners. All participants will receive a native plant seedling to plant at home.

Did you know? Colorado’s Front Range receives an average of less than 15 inches of rain a year, making supplemental watering a necessity for most landscapes. More than half of the water used in homes is applied to landscapes. Let's get waterwise and protect our community for a resilient future.

Get involved! The Colorado Parks and Wildlife is updating the State Wildlife Action Plan, making this a great time to be talking about native plants and insects.
