Audubon Rockies Virtual BioBlitz

What: How many species can you spot in four days?

Join Audubon Rockies for the inaugural region-wide Virtual BioBlitz, happening July 18-21 across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah!

During this community science event, explore the outdoors—whether it’s your backyard, a nearby park, or a national forest—to observe, identify, and record as many plant and animal species as you can using iNaturalist.

Why participate? The observations you submit will contribute valuable data to real-world conservation research that helps protect the plants and wildlife that make the Rockies region unique. Plus, it’s a fun and exciting way to connect with nature and learn more about species in the area!

Join from anywhere in Colorado, Wyoming, or Utah, for as much or as little time as you'd like during the event.

For questions, please contact Zach Hutchinson at zach.hutchinson@audubon.org.
