Building Community with a Side of Vegetables: How Friendship Grew from Our Gardens

  • Unitarian Universalist Church 5001 Pennsylvania Avenue Boulder, CO, 80303 United States (map)

What: A group of neighbors in east Boulder joined with other neighbors to plant gardens, grow vegetables, and share gardening ideas. They did all this and so much more—they pulled together their neighborhood into a more supportive community, all while growing and sharing fresh, organic produce.

Learn how they did it and how to grow your own neighborhood village! The format will be a panel discussion where we discuss building a village, growing gardens, and protecting biodiversity.
