Cross Pollination: Art + Science Are Essential in Building a Helpful Bridge to Protecting Our Ecosystem

  • Boulder Public Library Boulder Creek Room 1001 Arapahoe Avenue Boulder, CO 80302 United States (map)

You are warmly invited to attend and interact with a cross-disciplinary panel discussion between artists Faith Williams, Efrain Leal Escalera and Lauri Lynnxe Murphy and a scientist, Ezra Kottler, on the topic of insect and plant biodiversity and climate change. Now more than ever, effective communication of science is critical to increased understanding of urgent conservation topics, including climate change. How can artists partner with scientists, contribute to public discourse, and generate excitement around critical environmental issues? And how can scientists seek out and collaborate with artists as co-creators of visual information? Join us and bring your questions and perspectives for a rich and lively panel discussion.
